Horse Rides

We took the kids to the farm and they got to take turns going on horse rides with their Daddy!

Grandpa Gray, Jon and Rylee

They were brave enough to give it a try together.

Luckily Jon was leading the horse so I wasn't having a heart attack!
Giddy-up!!!

Gray Cousins

We got to enjoy a day with Madi and Jayden!

We played at Heritage Park! Garrett and Jayden got a rock skipping lesson from Uncle Jordan.

The girls!

I gave Madi a pedicure and then she wanted to give one to Rylee. Ry thinks Madi is the coolest and luckily Madi is the sweetest thing and lets Ry feel like a big girl with her.

Summer Fun

It's hard to whittle down all the fun we had this summer with my sister and her family. Some claim the world stops whenever family comes to town...and that's pretty accurate. We have to enjoy every moment while we can. So first up was the Sessions crew.
We first met in Manti and then enjoyed the 4th of July weekend together (previous post).
July 6 - Grandma planned a whole afternoon full of fun games and activities for the kids.

They made these fun foam guns and had contests to see who get theirs the farthest.

M&M relays! I won my division....sorry McCall, I just suck better than you!

Cute cousins - Bryn, Rylee and Kaisa. Last year Grandma was the reason for Rylee's jealousy with Bryn. This year it is Kaisa. It's hard to share cousins!

Water Relays!

July 7 - Giant waterslide at Evergreen Park! The tradition continues and was just as fun as any year! We have a pizza picnic and then slide away the afternoon.

Rylee got a little more adventurous this year and took to the hill without mom or dad!

SUPER GARRETT couldn't get enough!

Grandpa invited the little kids for a morning at Adventure Land Park to feed the ducks. They were so excited for this outing. Grandpa even packed a brunch full of fruit, donuts, yogurt, and drinks. Yes, he is trying to win them over and I think it's working.

How cute are these four!

He even remembered to take pictures! Thanks Dad!

So many activities we do during the summer have become traditions. A picnic at Roadhouse in AF Canyon is one. This grandkid picture is another one. We've taken a picture of the kids in this same spot for the last several years.

Isn't Bryn a sweetie! Luckily Rylee was distracted by Kaisa and didn't mind.

Those are muddy bums...nothing more!

July 10 - Steel Days Parade

My kids don't care for the loud sirens - and who can blame them. Now, where's all the candy?

Garrett loved this piggy mask that he caught. It's quite the prize!

Garrett absolutely loves Bryn! I think he'd adopt her if he could!

July 13 - Cousin Day
Mom and my sisters went to see Eclipse and then met up with some of our cousins for lunch. It doesn't happen often enough unfortunately.

Mom, Aunt Geri, Alisa, Me, Tiffani, McCall, Stephanie
Then for dinner we met cousin Becca for a taco picnic at Heritage Park in Cedar Hills - another favorite and let the kids roam free in the water.

July 21 - Boating!

This years boating excursion wasn't as great this year due to bad weather. But the kids all got to take one ride when the choppy waves calmed a little.

Regardless, they manage to still have a lot of fun playing in the creek and just being together.

July 23 - Colton's Baptism!
The last day before the Sessions headed back to Texas was a perfect ending. Colton got baptized. It's the first time all the cousins have been together for a baptism and it was a very special day for all of us. Congrats Colt!

4th of July

My parents got us all tickets to the Stadium of Fire this year. We got parked early and had our own tail gate party.
We got lots of looks from passersby..."Why didn't we think of that?" I'm sure is what they were thinking!
It was a beautiful night. Look at this sunset. Gorgeous!

My cute boys! (Rylee GOT to stay home with Nana)
Fun fireworks!
