Laying next to Garrett in his bed tonight...
G: Momma, you are heavy like a giant.
Dad walks in to say goodnight.
Mom: Do you want dad to lay by you?
G: No, I do not like him very much.
Dad: You don't like me?
G: No, you are just a daddy. You are not a mommy.
At least he redeemed himself a little!

Nice, Garrett. My sister in law had it worse. The whole time she was pregnant, her youngest wouldn't stop calling her Big Mama. Talk about a self-esteem boost.
That was too cute- in their eyes I am sure we are giants :). He did let Jon down gently, didn't he?!
I'm sorry, I shouldn't be laughing, but that was the funniest thing I've read in awhile. Kids can be so sweet and then so inadvertently cruel! But we love them anyway!!
jam,
so cute I just love the things kids say and I love blogging because I do a much better job getting them written down. Yeah! girls overnight that was so fun. I am back up and running with my blog reading back on it I realized that I have to make sure I keep it up it really is a great journal.
